Hello guys, WELCOME TO CUBAR!!! 

The Calabar Marina Resort was indeed put into good use. One would ask the link between Cuba and Calabar. Research shows that some citizens of Cuba in the Caribbean Islands are descendants of the Efik people. Legend has it that an Efik leader and his entire village of Obutong were captured by the British slave traders and taken to their final destination, Havana in Cuba. This Efik Chief allegedly founded the Abakua society in Havana in 1830s. 

I bet a lot of us had no clue about this myth.

this history gave birth to the theme for this party "CUBAR"
